My experience with Rett and Jim at Skier's Marine has been extremely pleasant and easy going. The thought of dropping some big bucks on a boat nearly put me into panic mode. So many choices and so many decisions are to be made. Rett and Jim made the choices and decisions very easy. They were friendly, helpful, and thoroughly knowledgeable. I bought my Malibu VLX in August of 2003 and have enjoyed every minute of it. You cannot get more bang for the buck than a Malibu, and you cannot get better help than the folks at Skier's Marine.

I just purchased a lake house in 2004. I knew nothing about boats, except through conversations with friends. I began to study ski boats and ride with my friends in all types of crafts. It was soon apparent that a Malibu was the boat for my kids and family needs. I contacted Skier's Marine and found the staff to be a pleasure to work with in purchasing my new boat. Not only were they helpful in my selection, but are always there when I need information and help. I can truly say I would never buy a boat from anyone else.

Dear Rett,
I am sitting here watching the snow fall and enjoying it, but all the more wishing spring would get here so we can dive into 65 degree water and go wakeboarding. I say I am watching the snow fall, but I have actually been spending the better part of the last hour dealing with problems that never seem to end surrounding my furnace. I had a new one installed two years ago and the problems never seem to end. On top of that, the meter-man decided to misread my meter this month, which jacked up my gas bill by $200, which I in turn blamed on the company that installed my furnace (who are nevertheless guilty on many other counts).
So why I am I telling you all of this? Because it reminded me to write this letter which I told Rachel all summer I would write, about how awesome Jim, Greg, and you have been to us. I have never had an experience like the one we had buying our boat from you guys. It is obviously scary and daunting buying one’s first boat, much less, the BMW of wakeboarding boats. Jim spent tireless hours—I would guess 30 to 40 total—with us throughout the whole process, never laughing at our dumb questions and providing what proved to be sage advice about our boat. I remember calling Jim’s cellphone at some point after we had the boat with another dumb question, he answered it and talked to me for 15 minutes, only to mention in passing that he was sitting on the beach with his wife on vacation.
It is rare to the point of nonexistent to find a business dedicated to pleasing the customer like you guys are and I just wanted you to know it.
We already have close to 90 hours on the boat. We were in it almost every weekend, wakeboarding and tubing. We didn’t make it to the Malibu get-together on Lake Mitchell, but will try this year. Also looking forward to the new Smith Lake location. We will come by the boat show and hang out (Sophia said she wants to see “Boat Jim”).
You guys are awesome, that’s the only way I know how to say it.

I have been a customer of Skier’s Marine for over 5 years. I have bought 5 boats from Rhett and the main reason I keep coming back is the trust that I have in Rhett to take care of me. The Malibu Boats are a great value for the price but the real value is Rhett's personal attention to the customer and their boat. Not only have I been satisfied with the product but being a customer of Rhett’s is like being a part of the family.
